Crust

Topping

For the crust:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13" pan. In a medium size mixing bowl, beat the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Mix in the salt and flour. Press the dough lightly into the pan. Cook for 15 minutes.

Topping:

In a medium mixing bowl, While the crust is baking, mix the eggs, brown sugar, coconut, pecans, chocolate chips, flour, baking powder, nutmeg and vanilla. Spread this mixture on the hot crust when it is done, bake an additional 25 minutes. Allow to cool. Dust with powdered sugar, cut into squares and serve! Yield: about 32 bar cookies.

The chocolate in these cookies is for love and positive emotions, the coconut for spirituality the nutmeg for awareness.
