Yule Pecan Cake


Lady Roxanne, North Carolina

Sift flour, with the baking powder and salt. Cream butter. Add beaten eggs. Add 3 cups of the sifted flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix reaming flour with cherries, pineapple, and broken pecans. Stir this mixture into the batter, add vanilla. Grease and flour tube cake pan. Pour mixture into pan. Bake in 250°F oven for 3 hours. Allow cake to cool in pan.
