Mix 1 packet unflavored gelatin in 1/4-cup hot water. Set aside.
Separately, combine:
Cook over low heat until thickened.
Add gelatin mixture and 1/4 cup glycerin. Divide into small bowls and tint with food coloring, and a few drops flavoring extract. It should be noted this will stain sheets, skin and clothing, but is washable.
